Question:
You describe us as having mystical bodies, of great height and beautiful. How then did we end up looking like we do now?
God’s answer:
The fairytale story: The Frog Prince.
They (Adam and Eve)
were both enchanted and begat children on their own.
Meaning: They became physical creatures, like what we are now. This
sculpture also implies that Adam and Eve were hideous and grotesque. God
used the word enchanted and not cursed because enchanted also means
beguiled -charm or enchant (someone), sometimes in a deceptive way. The
story is told after the next sculpture.
The phrase “begat children on their own” is significant, meaning: 1) like
animals they can reproduce 2) they started reproducing not by God’s will but
by sexual reproduction.
